Nine years after she started operations in 1997, Xavier Sports & Country Club continues to be the de rigueur venue for important functions in the city.
She is the venue of choice for big weddings of sometimes over a thousand guests. It is almost as if one’s wedding celebration will not be as grand nor complete if it were held elsewhere.
Big weddings are held in the convention hall, although garden weddings remain a favorite among foreigners. Backed up by a cutting-edge kitchen, the Club can handle up to 2,500 guests.
Companies likewise favor the Club for their functions. Indeed, corporate accounts have been keeping the Club busy since it started. These companies’ functions include sales conferences, seminars, team-building activities, Christmas parties, below-the-line media events, and sports festivities.
Travelers on slow vacations have been cozying up to the Ridgeview Chalets, the Club’s hotel facilities.
The Club is WI-FI, giving restaurant and hotel guests
instant and free high-speed Internet access. It has enough parking space, which –except for a papal visit-- will not have trouble accommodating the parking needs of whatever occasion.
